Meeting Information Nursing Mothers Alliance now has two local chapters that serve the areas of Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware counties outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. These chapters are: In each chapter there are trained breastfeeding counselors who are available to offer telephone support to nursing moms. If you live in one of the areas that we cover and would like to obtain a counselor, please contact us by either calling the referral person from your area, attending one of our mothers meetings, or emailing us at nmapasub@yahoo.com. If you live in the former Pickering Valley local area, you are welcome to attend the meetings at one of the other two locations. Each chapter holds a mothers meeting once a month. At each meeting, we offer a "Getting Started at Breastfeeding" talk. This is short and informative, and excellent for any pregnant or brand new mom! The dates and topics vary each month, so look below at the chapter information to see when the meetings are for your area. The meetings are free, and are welcome to nursing and expecting mothers, partners, and children. |
